Review of Creep (2014) by Andrew M — 25 Nov 2016
Duplass sticks his landing as the smiley, sincere, and subtle version of "Lecter". Something will, inevitably, go bump in the night, but one figures that as long as one keeps his eye on the ball, what's the worst that could happen? Josef's childlike-ness proves for chilling film-making, as we never concrete the kid-adult dynamic between Josef and Aaron, the reality always stuck in some bizarre, homosocial limbo.
