Review of Creed II (2018) by Dave G — 10 Jan 2019
Creed II riffs on story beats from Rockys II, III and IV, but this contemporary retelling makes them feel fresh. It's nice to see the Russian villains more fleshed out than they were back in the 80s, and the final showdown feels like something we haven't seen in this franchise before.
It's all topped off by a very touching conclusion.
