Review of Creed (2015) by Jerome P — 09 Feb 2016

Everyone seems to love this movie, which I don't get. I found it disappointing. There's nothing new here. The best stuff is with the Bianca character, but then it's tossed aside and she becomes nothing more than a cheerleader.

The movie wants me to cheer for him because he's going to make it on his own, but he never does. Everything happens because his name is Creed. So, it sets me up for something and then fails completely at achieving that something.

It's also just copies from it's own canon without a shred of anything new but younger characters. I'm not even sure it's done well...the running with motorcycles flops for me. I hope for more from the next one.
