Review of Creed (2015) by Leonard E — 26 Feb 2016
Once again Stallone finds success with this franchise by taking it back to the original formula - a more intimate, paced look at the characters, with a few fight scenes thrown in. Much like Star Wars VII, if you look hard enough, you start to see a lot of similarities with the first movie.
Almost, dare I say, a reboot? But they did enough to reinvent Rocky, and make the movie about Michael B Jordan's 'Donny'. It's not going to be as exciting as fighting Mr T, but let's not forget that movie also had a silly remote-control robot.
Being real is what makes this movie good. Grade B+.
