A reboot done right! An unabashed throwback to the original that moved characters forward rather than just remaking them in different skin (or gender ahem Star Wars ahem). Some of the more obvious tributes to the original feel a bit out of place, but otherwise this is rather well done, tense, and is beautifully shot.
Michael B Jordan is great. Sly Stallone is nearly revelatory with this material.
