Review of Creed (2015) by Animal M — 27 Mar 2016
Creed is a knock-out experience of a film. Michael B. Jordan stands out as an affective and empathic character while Stallone shines with possibly the performance of his career. The film never feels dragging, never too long, and never uninteresting.
Creed, like its story, uses its legacy to its advantage and finds all what made the Rocky saga so endearing and relatable and uses the torn and broken life of a child born out of wedlock not lose sight of his dreams, never forgetting where he came from.
Creed is, unequivocally, a fantastic, if not perfect, film.
