It's just OK. As a fan of the series is hard for me to undertsand why some many people think that this movie was remarkable. I'm not saying it's bad. The plot is good, and so is the acting.
The casting was indeed barely regular. The biggest downside was that it was quite boring during the firts half, at least. It's only after the first pro fight of Adonis, that things go in some kind of thrilling way.
Also, I'd like to say that writers for late Rocky movies have crearly ran out of ideas. The only way they have found to give emotion is taking things from Rocky. In one part they make him to lose his friend, then he loses all his money, then he loses his wife.
I won't be surprised to see a Creed 2 with Rocky already dead or in prison.
