Review of Creed (2015) by Mark S — 19 May 2016
The Rocky formula went stale around the third or fourth movie in the series, but the last two entries have been solid. "Creed" builds on 2006's "Rocky Balboa" by telling the story of a new underdog, similar in some ways to both Rocky and his father, but feeling fresh as a young man rises to meet his destiny.
Michael B. Jordan's talent shines through in his depiction of the eponymous Creed.
