The biggest snub for best picture (nomination) of 2016. Creed surprised me greatly, I think this is the best Rocky film in the whole franchise (that's an achievement). The cinematography of Philadelphia was gorgeous and the score was complimentary.
Michael B Jordan gives the best performance of his career while Stallone more than deserved his Oscar nomination. I loved the side stories and the back stories of the different chacters. Jordan and Thompson have great chemistry which is something I don't think I would enjoy but I really did like their relationship in the movie between Creed and Bianca.
This beautifully pays homage to the good original films and the characters from it while adding a group of new ones to love. Similar to Star Wars. I hope there is a sequel.
