Review of Creed (2015) by Basquilly — 10 Feb 2016
I'm not a fan of the Rocky movies, but Creed has gone down as one of my favourite sports movies of all time. Fantastic writing, fantastic characters, fantastic acting from the whole cast, and fantastic direction.
For the first time in my life I can say that I enjoyed watching Stallone on the big screen, though his oscar nomination is a bit of a farce. Stallone put in his best performance to date, but that isn't saying much.
It was Michael B. Jordan who stole the show, and his exclusion from the Best Actor nominations is certainly questionable.
