Review of Creed (2015) by Thebigdeal — 30 Nov 2015
Have been a huge fan of all the previous Rocky movies.....Except Rocky V. This spin-off was a great movie, but was not one of my favorites. It had the drama of the first two, but none of the pure awesomeness of Rocky III and IV.
The music score was not as catchy as the other Rocky films, and the fact that Creed didn't come out the Living In America seemed like a huge missed opportunity, especially since he fought a British guy.
I also didn't care for Rocky getting cancer. How much crap are you going to throw at the guy who single handed-ly ended the Cold War after beating Ivan Drago? Already killed his manager, his wife, his two best friends and made his ungrateful son move away.
Other than that movie was very entertaining, and had a great fight sequence which left everyone in the crowd pumped up and head butting walls when it was over.
