Roger Corman produced. Somebody else described the creature best as something you'd need Draino to fight. A bunch of people set off on a boat on some Cuban espionage scam. The captain/lead gangster is a Bogie look-a-like.
The other characters are stereotypes too. This is the first B-movie in which I have really appreciated the campy humor. It is still really bad, but I thought it was funny at times.
