An emotional movie about Darwin and his coming to write "The Origin of Species" and how it effected his relationships with his wife who was a Christian, his friends and family whom many were Christians, and a struggle with his own self as he was once a Christian.

He didn't want to publish a story that could completely change the world and "kill God" for many believers. Writing this famous book literally made him sick physically and emotionally. This was quite an interesting story but moreso has the gift to move you.

Jon Amiel did a very good job directing this film and it was a pleasure sitting in on his Q&A after the film.
