Review of Creation (2009) by Gary T — 03 Jun 2010
Creation is a really enjoyable film which I thought was purely going to concentrate on the origin of species. However, Creation not only explores the conflict Darwin had between his scientific belief and his wife's faith and indeed the nation, but also his own struggle with his daughter and what his book would mean to him and his relationship with her.
Paul Bettany plays Darwin brilliantly as a man at odds with himself and his emotional connection with his daughter. Definitely not one to be missed.
