As a Bible believing Christian there were times when I felt a bit uncomfortable with some of the dialogue. Not that I'm doubting that what is said in the movie didn't take place (or something similar) but the fact that someone was talking about killing God and believing that they were.
Never the less this picture got me wanting to find out more about Darwin. Before seeing this I thought of Darwin as someone who came up with a clever yet ridiculous theory. But this movie showed the conflicts and heartbreak experienced.
You have to wonder, if his daughter never died and the church was more about the love of Jesus than cold-hearted religion, would the theory of Evolution ever come to be?
