Review of Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011) by Gerald D — 06 Dec 2012
I wouldn't call this a romantic comedy per se because there is so much more going on here. And it is all good stuff. I'm not the biggest fan of Steve Carell, but I knew he would do a good job playing a sad sack going through a divorce.
Ryan Gosling's character was great as the good hearted gigilo trying to help Steve Carell's character man up. (Funny side note even after all the "Makeovers and training" Steve Carell looks exactly like Steve Carell) The relationships are great.
Julianne and Emma are great romantic leads and the supporting characters are great too. There is plenty of laughs amungst the drama and angst. Loved the ending.
