Review of Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011) by Avneesh M — 14 Apr 2014

I'm not a big fan of romantic comedies but must admit, this is one hell of a movie and among my favourites from the genre.The ensemble cast is simply terrific. Steve Carell, Julianne Moore, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone and even Kevin Bacon in a short role are all nothing short of a delight to watch! The script is smart and even though you know how its going to end, it takes a unique approach in getting there.

There's a good bunch of comedic moments that keep it breezy and the movie strikes the right balance of sentimentality where it doesn't take itself too seriously but isn't too breezy or light either.

Highly recommended if you haven't already seen it!
