If you want to see a good Asian American movie, go see The Wedding Banquet. It was funny and had a good Asian American story with human characters and not just stereotypical archetypes. There were a few funny moments here.

But the climax moments felt forced without much if any pay off as the characters weren't developed.. Mostly the movie felt like a travel show on Singapore, which I expect will get a nice bump in tourism.

But hey, I supported Asian American cinema. Yay for me.
