A wonderful movie! I loved the music (especially the Mandarin version of Material Girl). And the dumpling scene was touching as it showed a culturally important family moment and old tradition (and even made mention of Cantonese, a dialect).

I remember growing up making dumplings with my family and seeing that played out on screen was heart warming. Rachel's relationship with her mother was also very touching and reminded me of my own loving and supportive relationship with my mother.
