Review of Crazy Rich Asians (2018) by Janelle O — 01 Sep 2018

While rightly ambitious in scope, the movie fell flat with long stretches of simply slow storyline. I was honestly bored through half of it, and felt like I was just waiting for the big showdown. The main guy was cheesy nice; the only character I felt remotely interesting was his mother.

I really wanted to love this movie, but it just felt. SO. long.
