Review of Crazy Rich Asians (2018) by Wet S — 21 Aug 2018

This was actually a really heart-warming comedy. Was a little apprehensive about it in the beginning but it took me by surprise. Honestly wasn't expect to cry -- multiple times. The girl next to me was openly sniffing while I tried to hide my tears with munchies and a drink.

Might actually be the first time that I cried about love being so beautiful, something happy, rather than because of something that was heartbreaking. I didn't really see the whole wealth part of the movie as obnoxious, it was more like a backdrop, a setting that you enjoy and is shocked by alongside the main character.
