Review of Crazy on the Outside (2010) by Dr. F P — 15 Mar 2013
It isn't as crazy as I thought it was going to be but I definitely did laugh out loud a few times, unfortunately not too frequently. I loved Sigourney Weaver as ever, her quirky character is very funny.
I also loved the Pirate Burger place. The story doesn't really seem to go anywhere fast, which kind of annoyed me. It got to around the 1 hour mark and I started getting bored with it. Some gags fall flat, the delivery can be a bit off in my opinion and don't even mention the musical score, it is definitely dire and sounds like something from a 90s made for TV movie that nobody has heard of, let alone the fact that it doesn't fit the tone of what's on screen at times.
Crazy on the Outside is worth a cheap rental if you're patient with this kind of genre.
