I don't think a documentary should automatically get a great review just because its subject is compelling, and I think Crazy Love is a pretty good example of this. The story is very compelling, but the documentary style is just, you know, fine: interviews with wacky people, period music, etc.

etc. Same ole, same ole. At any rate, the story is definitely worth watching but nothing more.
