Interesting documentary about an oddball relationship in which a woman stands by her man for years despite him having paid someone to dispatch her (because she was seeing someone else) by throwing lye in her face, thus blinding her.

Like I said, interesting, but not daring enough. It left me feeling empty. I can only imagine what the Maysles (who made the documentary Grey Gardens) could have done with this.
