Review of Crazy Heart (2009) by Kimberly B — 26 Dec 2010

I watched this because my husband wanted to see it. My expectations were low, but they were still too high. I cannot imagine why Jeff Bridges won an Oscar (plus many others awards) for this role. Because he sang songs and played the guitar? What? The story was cheesy and boring. I didn't even like the ending, which might have made the movie somewhat worthwhile if it had ended as I expected.

In a word: Blech. Skip this.
