A great film, and itâ(TM)s funny how a great film can make you feel so much better. This film doesnâ(TM)t reach the agony of something like Leaving Las Vegas, or even Factotum, as the drinking here is a chronic grey cloud, rather than something as acute and tragic as in those other films.
However Jeff Bridges is excellent as Bad Blake and while you donâ(TM)t see as much pathos and realism as perhaps you should, it is a great performance.
