Review of Crazy Heart (2009) by Lindsey J — 13 Jan 2011
Jeff Bridges deserved his Oscar; he was brilliant as Bad Blake. I was surprised I didn't enjoy the film more, because I adore Maggie Gyllehaal; but I'm afraid I didn't buy-in to the pairing, so when the two characters kissed for the first time, I cringed! Nice enough story.
I just expected more from the film, I suppose.
