Review of Crazy Heart (2009) by Benjamin P — 19 May 2011

Crazy heart lacks a great plot, but makes up for with with heart. It's a straight forward film that plays out like a typical country song. It's a very well acted film, especially from Jeff Bridges who also does a wonderful job singing.

I do believe there had to be a better option to play a country singer than Colin Farrell. I am not a fan of country music at all, however, I seemed to really enjoy the music in the film. It a slow paced film that not gonig to appeal to some, but still worth a look.
