Review of Crazy Heart (2009) by Rob T — 21 Jul 2011

Assuming he isn't a dirty, old, chain-smoking alcoholic in real life, Jeff Bridges did a fantastic job. But the whole movie was very slow. I guess maybe it just wasn't my type of movie- it was kind of gross watching a dirty old man in a relationship with Maggie Gyllenhaal, and I don't like country music, either.

I was pulling for him in the end, though. And I did enjoy the fact that they did their own singing, so that's a plus.
