Review of Crazy Heart (2009) by Scott R — 30 Jan 2013

Bridges owned this role. The story was simple, honest and believable. What really sealed the deal was the music. I would like to get this soundtrack. Too bad it was R, without the swearing it could have been PG-13.

It also made me want to be a has been rock star, and have people remember me and have a drink associated with my personality. I enjoyed it. Gyllenhaal was odd, but she grew on me. But because she did not quite fit, made it alright in the end when they broke up.
