Review of Crazy and Thief (2012) by Andrew B — 13 Mar 2013
At first it seems a simple and indulgent film. However, it gathers pace and is winningly acted. It is a groundbreaking film in its use of children and it pays worthy and unusual attention to them. We are presented with a child's view of the world in gorgeous images, and lingering scenes.
Editing, music and script make this another winner for visionary auteur, McAbee (Stingray Sam). Clever and fun. A gem.
