Review of Crazy (2013) by Corey P — 19 May 2008

I adore this movie. I fell in love with Marc-Andre Grondin. It's not that often that a movie leaves me floating. I saw this for the first time a the LA Film festival in 2006 outside under the stars at the Ford Amphitheater with the sound of the film projectors clicking away.

Wonderful story, great production value, direction, editing, acting, the music... great.

I have a new appreciation for French Canadian films now.

The main character is gay but it's one small tiny element about who he is and it certainly isn't a major element of what drives these characters. I wouldn't call it a gay movie in the least. It deals with real family issues and shows people overcoming differences. Character development is amazing. I love this movie. =).
