Review of C.R.A.Z.Y. (2005) by Mike W — 25 Jan 2008
Strong look at family dynamics--wry, witty, painful; excellent evocation of 60's & 70's, from production design to the use of ORIGINAL artists on the soundtrack (it's been said before, but it bears repeating: why does Hollywood settle for crappy cover versions when this little Quebecois movie can actually feature the real Bowie, etc?); and ultimately, a winner in my books because any movie that uses Patsy Cline as a thematic link displays unquestionable discernment.
