Review of Crazy (2000) by Rachael H — 10 Nov 2010
A french film I watched with more friends. It has an interesting, diverse soundtrack. We particularly enjoyed the David Bowie references. The story's a family drama set over a long period of time. We follow the French=Canadian as they grow up and explore music, sex and drugs. Very much a cult film, both in it's visual style and it's message.
It's well acted. It's an interesting character piece that keeps you interested until the end with it's epic music and slow-mo dramatic scenes, Subtitles are need to be read at all times though, the plot gets complicated and you can't half-watch it when the film's in French!
