I didn't find the characters as irritating as some other ratings or the acting quite so bad. Yes, this is definitely a mix of Aliens and Event Horizon as someone pointed out. What I liked is that it kept you trying to figure things out.

I DID feel the ending needed to end...well, without spoiling for anyone who hasn't seen it...when he pulled out the ring and...(let's just leave it at that). The ending asked more questions than answers, but I know that was the whole idea.

All in all, not so bad...entertaining and didn't feel like I needed that 1 hr 57 min back of my life!
