Review of Crater (2023) by Bertobellamy — 16 May 2023
Decent kid's movie that at least tries to delve more into mature themes like grief, the effects of capitalism, and the value of memories. It gets corny at times, but not much to make you go away. As you would expect, there are some 'Stranger Things' vibes around the kid's group; looks like every teen movie it's aiming for that now.
The good thing is that only one of the boys is annoying; the rest are ok. All in all, 'Crater' delivers a not-that-bad adolescent sci-fi tale that surely will inspire some kids to explore the genre as they grow up.
