Review of Crank: High Voltage (2009) by Jack R — 07 Jul 2010
What a complete & utter waste of time, money & effort. Possibly Jason Stathams worst movie by a mile. It is completely utterly bollocks & so over the top with unblelievable stunts like a woman gets hit by a car at full pelt & she walks away not only alive but with no broken limbs nor any kind of scratch.
Jason Statham survives the fall out of the plane, again not quite realistic but it can happen, from the ending of the first movie only for the Triads to kidnap him & steal his heart for their boss to possess or he will die without the operation.
Jason Statham's heart is replaced by a mechanical one which is on a charge. He goes after the Triad gang hoping to regain his heart but finds he needs to keep charging the battery to stay alive. Also on his tail is the Hispanic gang from the first movie, which had originally injected his body which a toxin which would stop his heart unless he kept his Adrenelin flowing, wanting to kill him.
