Good Lord. I thought I knew what to expect. But this is insane film-making in just about every sense. The story and characters are grotesque. Jason Statham gurns his way through every scene, yelling and punching stuff.
The glossy and hyperactive camerawork and editing is absolutely fitting for the (ahem) plot. But surely these people were all on high-grade narcotics when they made this. It gave me a headache, but I did laugh occasionally (at it, not with it).
Probably best for 13 year old boys. Except it's an 18 certificate.
