Question raised by this film: Is action and violence really gratuitous if it's absolutely non-stop? I mean, "gratuitous" is "without apparent reason...given without receiving any return value." Well, the entire reason for this movie *is* action and violence, and it gives return value.
There's a genre of movie that I call "stoopid"...quite distinct from "stupid." This may be the stoopidist movie ever made (of course, I haven't yet seen the sequel).
It's completely ludicrous and fun as hell.
