Review of Cradle Will Rock (1999) by Jonathan W — 04 Jun 2007
After seeing the movie, I looked up the true story and found that it is quite historically acurate, which is a real bonus. This film does a great job of capturing the feeling of the times (as I picture them anyway).
Though its focus is about the integrity of art in challenging circumstances, I think it applies in a general sense to the difficulties of maintaining personal convictions in difficult and uncertain times.
