Review of Cradle Will Rock (1999) by Marcel D — 04 Aug 2009
Tough to find a cast with so many great stars. A film about the theatre in the 1930s thats a must for any theatre or American history buff. Anyone whose blood boils at the ignorance and evils of men. Anyone all for free-speech!
A movie that is heartwarming and insightful based on true story with great performances from Bill Murray and John Turturro and excellent cameos from a gay Jack Black and Kyle Gas.
Not a perfect film and I wasn't completely sold on Orson Welles 100% of the time but nevertheless, its worth checking out for a bit of illumination and entertainment.
