Review of Cradle 2 the Grave (2003) by Hate E — 06 Aug 2011

I don't usually comment on such 101% action movies, but this one annoyed me to the brink of collapse. OK, so Jet Li is a great fighter and I like DMX as a rapper. But what the $%%$#$^%$%^$ was this movie supposed to mean? The acting is so wooden and the story so idiotic that I couldn't help but wonder how the makers of this movie didn't say at one point in the production: what the hell are we doing here? Everything is thrown in chaotically, without the slightest consideration to story,acting and otherwise. It's like: let's put DMX and Jet Li in an action fighting movie for the second or third time, some explosions, chases and let's finish this movie, we have a schedule to keep. There is a whole new breed of movies in the last 10 years or so, that are void of any meaning or genuine artistic value. Just special effects and guest stars.Booooorrriinnnngggg!!!!!!
