Review of Cradle 2 the Grave (2003) by Paramilitary400 — 15 May 2015
Cradle 2 the grave is far from Jet Li's best action picture. The plot is alright but is nothing ingenious and DMX.
Is an average actor. The producers should have cast a better partner for Jet in the movie. The most exciting parts of this movie are the action scenes and there are enough to satisfy fans of Jet. If you're watching the movie solely for the action, you will be pleased. I'll give credit to DMX for some of the action in the movie because he has some cool action scenes. The dialogue and story could've been better but it's no surprise.
Overall the movie is enjoyable and it is on the level of Romeo Must Die. This movie isn't on the level of Unleashed and Kiss Of The Dragon. Those movies have excellent plots and terrific action scenes. This movie is what you'll expect from an action movie. However if you are seeking an original plot with A list actors and inventive action scenes this isn't your action movie. I recommend this movie to everyone but it is no masterpiece. On a scale of 1 to 10, a 7 is more than fair.
