Review of Cracks (2009) by Rene R — 11 Nov 2011

I had to give this movie some points because the acting and camerawork are quite good. I also have a hard time tearing my eyes away from Juno Temple whom I find ridiculously attractive. The story unfortunately is an overly melodramatic load of crap.

Eva Green does pretty well portraying a very complicated character who on the one hand cares for her students' betterment but on the other hand rapes them. (SPOILER ALERT!) It's kind of like the Penn State scandal except she rapes them while they're unconscious and then murders them to get rid of the evidence.

I'm not sure what the point of this movie was except to show that women can be just as cruel when it comes to rape and murder as men can be.
