An ideological and naive young girl just wants to be a famous singer. A simple dream...and she ventures out into the real world and dances like a skank on a bar for money to achieve this goal. Go figure.
The movie is really inane, but if you want to see bouncing boobs or go for false schmaltzy sentimentality, then by all means watch the movie.
