Review of Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret (2014) by Chelsea Y — 21 Sep 2015

I've done research on this topic and it's refreshing to see people finally talking about it! It's an amazing documentary that start the conversation! It concludes by encouraging environmental groups to practice what they preach, go vegan, and lobby against agriculture.

Although I wish the film went more into the history and politics leading to why the system is the way it is, and what legislation environmental groups could be lobbying against to make change. Encouraging people to change their diet is a good way to start the conversation, but many people don't have the luxury of controlling what they eat, such as poorer people or school children.

This film hardly goes into government subsidies and legislation that could lead to more immediate and long term changes.
