What was John Favreau thinking? Bond and Indy teaming up to battle ridiculous bronze aliens who turn humans into mindless marionettes? Were he and producer Steven Spielberg trying to tarnish their respective careers whilst throwing ludicrous amounts of money away.
When interviewed, you got the distinct impression that all the cast members would have been a lot happier just making a straight Western and to be honest it probably would have been a more sensible option. It certainly would have been better than this career low point of a film.
