It's hard to care about cardboard characters. The aliens are poorly-conceived and basically faceless redshirts. This concept actually has potential but it's unrealized in the hands of these screenwriters.
The final scene made no sense, chronologically, which was the cherry on top of the "lazy moviemaking" sundae. Disappointment. Skip.
