Review of Courageous (2011) by Don S — 31 Mar 2012
Another low-budget Christian masterpiece by the Kendricks. The message is timely and much-needed in today's society. All fathers should be required to see this movie, then examine what they have accomplished in the lives of the world's most precious assets, their children.
The acting is on the poor side, but keep in mind this is an indie made without the benefit of "star-power." Still, the effect is overwhelming. I'm man enough to admit I cried. I'm also man enough to admit I've got some way to go to be the best father I can be to my kids.
You really can't expect more than that from a movie.
