Review of Courageous (2011) by Kathryn M — 18 Jun 2012
With no plot to speak of and painful stabs at humor, Courageous is essentially a modern-day parable that spends it's entire run searching for the heart that it simply can't find with it's actors' vacant dialogue and over-simplistic preaching: stealing is bad, gangs are bad, being a good father is important, blah, blah, blah.
This is a great movie to talk about in Sunday school, but it's not much else.
